Battery lab

Overview

The battery laboratory is one of the five laboratories of the inspection department. It carries out testing activities in technical fields such as battery electrical performance and safety performance, covering various announcements and commissioned tests of battery cells, battery modules, battery packs, and battery clusters. , Up to now, there are 70 sets of main test equipment, with a total investment of about 40 million.

Test ability

It has mandatory battery testing and R&D testing capabilities. The testing capabilities cover 42 domestic and foreign standards such as GB, GB/T, QC/T, TJ/JW, UL, ISO, IEC, and ECE. Batteries, rail storage batteries, and battery management systems all have comprehensive testing capabilities.

Capacity planning

While continuing to improve equipment such as isothermal calorimetry and crushed stone impact around power batteries, it will fully cover the testing needs of solar storage inverters, converters, and energy storage systems in 23 years, and will carry out fuel cell construction in 24 years.

Technical highlights

Three comprehensive test systems: can completely simulate the actual driving process including ambient temperature and humidity, vibration, charging and discharging conditions (current up to 1600A).
Adiabatic calorimeter: It can test various thermal parameters of the battery and provide technical support for the thermal safety of the battery.
